Fujinomiya Yakisoba Conference

Introduction of the Enrolled Organizations

Fujinomiya Yakisoba(stir-fried noodles) features al dente steamed noodles, shaved sardine powder, and Niku-Kasu(pork back fat heated at a high temperature to remove the fat). Locals have loved this food since shortly after World War II, and we address community revitalization with Fujinomiya Yakisoba. The Agency for Cultural Affairs designated Fujinomiya Yakisoba as a “100 Year-Old Food” in 2022, meaning the local dish transferred over the generation. As the pride of Japan’s food culture, we will continue to promote our local attractions.
