Toyokawa Inarizushi Party to Revive Toyokawa

Introduction of the Enrolled Organizations

In 2009, we formed a volunteer party to revive the community in Toyokawa City, which is considered one of the birthplaces of Inarizushi (a pouch of fried tofu filled with sushi rice). The members are young people and self-proclaimed young people. Under the slogan “Say Toyokawa City, Say Toyokawa Inarizushi,” we are acting full of a sense of humor to revive the town and the whole of Japan. At B-1 Grand Prix, we will cook inarizushi at the venue. Inarin, the mascot for Toyokawa, is looking forward to seeing you there; “Matterunda Rin!”

Introduction of the Cities and Towns

Toyokawa City has Toyokawa Inari Shrine, said to be one of the three “major” Inari Shrine in Japan. On the banks of the Sana River, you can see cherry blossoms and canola mustard in spring. Moreover, several fireworks festivals take place between March and October. You can enjoy the rich nature surrounded by Mikawa Bay and Mt. Honguu and the historical atmosphere at Goyusyuku Town and Akasaka Town on Tokaido Road.
