Introduction of the Enrolled Organizations

Bon jour! Under the slogan “Cheer up the town with Towada Barayaki!” we are a non-profit organization that engages in community-encouraging. Following the concept “Community-encouragement is human resource development,” we are promoting Towada’s appeals involving children who will live in the next era. We held the 10th Conference in 2015, and many people got to know our hometown Towada. We will continue to share the appeals, including Towada Barayaki, and we hope people like Towada.
La Vie En Rose! Life in rosy hue with Towada Barayaki(“bara” means pork belly and is pronounced the same as a rose in Japanese).

Introduction of the Cities and Towns

Towada City is inland in the southern area of Aomori Prefecture. It is full of nature: Towada Lake, a national scenic point and a national nature treasure; Okuirase Mountain Stream; and Mt. Hakkoda. In the central part of the city, you can see the organized houses as the result of the pioneer of modern land readjusting. The government office district’s main street centering on the Towada Modern Art Museum is likened to a museum. Towada City is a beautiful city with harmonizing plentiful nature and art.
