Under the slogan “Encourage the city with Okumino Curry!” we try and error every day to progress. From Gujyo City in Gifu Prefecture, rich in nature with mountains and rivers, we send passion and intimacy to all of Japan. We visit and have many classes at kindergartens, elementary schools, junior highs, and senior highs in our community. We want young people to recognize this proud hometown! We want visitors to get to know Gujyo’s appeals! We promote our city with hot passions and hot spicy curry.

Introduction of the Cities and Towns

Gujyo City is in the northern part of Gifu Prefecture. Featured with the beautiful Nagara River and cityscape surrounded by mountains, Gujyo Dance Festivals and Shirotori Dance Festivals take place here and there in summer and have many visitors who love dancing. It snows a lot in winter, and many ski areas are there. We are proud of this city that you can feel the four seasons.
