The Nabari Gyujiru Association

Introduction of the Enrolled Organizations

Our predecessor organization started based on the Nabari Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 2007. Soon later, sponsored by Nabari City, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Tourism Association, the Nabari Gyuujiru(beef soup) Association was founded. Under the keyword “Gyuujiru,” we promote our hometown Nabari City through social and community-contribution activities. Akame 48 Falls in Nabari City is believed to be a training site for Iga Ninjya. Collaborating with neighboring Iga City these years, this tourist spot is vigorously advertised. Using secret Ninja art, “Making People Love Nabari,” we all believe that more and more people get interested and love Nabari!!

Introduction of the Cities and Towns

Nabari City is full of nature as the Akame 48 Falls. It is also well known for its delicious food, such as “Iga Rice Koshihikari,” “Iga Sake,” and “Iga beef.” “Iga Rice” has been designated as “Toku ‘A’ Rice (the most excellent rice determined by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries)” many times.
Nabari City developed as a suburban area of Osaka. Some towns are named after flowers; Kikyogaoka Town is named after the city flower, the Chinese bellflower(“Kikyo”). Since a Japanese popstar Ken Hirai, who is from Nabari City, released a song, “Kikyogaoka,” the town’s name became widely well-known throughout the country.
